North Korea is threatening to wipe out South Korea's military if Seoul doesn't end its "hostile posture" toward the regime, the New York Times reports.
The threat comes as South Korea celebrates its Armed Forces Day today.

South Korea has responded by deploying more than 1 million troops to the border and deploying fighter jets and navy ships in case of a North Korean attack, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The North has also threatened to cut off its communications with the South and launch a nuclear attack of its own if Seoul doesn't end its "hostile posture."
In other North Korean news: The country's official KCNA news agency says the North has tested a long-range missile capable of hitting the US mainland, Yonhap News reports.
